Adikt, the dj who is doing the opening set, is a regular bass-fiend with an eclectic style. We’ll probably start up around 9:30… and Finally, after our set, the night will transform into a house music dance extravaganza, with Mark Starr & Co. spinning into the wee hours…
First things first, Massive Carbon Footprint gives a special shout out to all the folx who came to 621 Gallery Hallowe’en Night!! In other news, if you’ve been lurking around certain haunts of the internet, you may have heard some of the hype surrounding a new artist named Balam Acab. The music has been really growing on me…
His new EP, entitled See Birds EP is not widely available, but u can find it on Beatport, of course… This is a cool track, IMHO:
Massive Carbon Footprint is scheduled to play on Halloween night @ 621 Gallery in RR Square. We’ll be doing it early (6-9pm), and since we have 3 full hours at our disposal, we will be throwing in some eccentric DJ sets in between our band sets. Plus, we will be featuring Wes Wesson from Justice of Funk this time around (promise!) on a song or 2 . . .
There’s going to be lots of other festivities after our set too, so stick around
Massive Carbon Footprint will once again be rocking the Fermentation Lounge on Wednesday, October 13. Show is scheduled from 9-11pm. And it’s free! This time, we’re bringing out special guest Wes Wesson aka Soulyricist from local band Justice of Funk! [p.s. if u click on that link, fast forward to about 1:00; Wes is the cat on the drums...]
